I've heard (well done a search) the 4EFTE computer will plug straight into a normal 5EFHE Cynos loom no worries. Do you need to change the ignitor or coil or dizzy or any other stuff to get it going?
I know the 4EFTE MAP sensor and injectors need to be used and that a aftermarket fuel pressure reg can be used to get the fuelling right for the extra capacity of the engine. Is it better to use the 315cc (pink) 3SGE injectors?
So, with that stuff and the 4EFTE ECU, the 5EFHE will handle boost and retard timing properly up to the boost max boost of 14psi (when fuel cut kicks in)? Well the computer will handle things accordingly, maybe not the motor itself...
