depends on which style
the 5mge had two types multi rib and twin v
the multi rib one can be swapped with a 7mge/gte one

If you are after a twin v type i have one for sale at the moment.

early 5mge, so ma61 and mz10, i think cressidas come with different ones as do the later model ma61s
ga61s run different alternators again.

mteu alternators maybe the same as early 5mge, but not 100 percent on that.

MTEU have the same as early 5M but different there 55A not 65A

if your after a 7M or 5M (both types) i have 2 of each on the spairs shelf that im up for offers on the cresidas also came out with 2 types both are internal reg 7PK series but one is 85A & the other is 65A depending on factory specs of the car

also the 2 V alternators have a smaller sharft than most of the muilty ones (7PK) with the exception of the 60A 7PK

mountings are different on the 2V verses the 7PK

2V`s came in 40A,45A,55A,60A & 65A depending on car ect & are external reg

7PK`s came in 55A,60A,65A,80A,85A & 100A in some contreys never jappa or NZ tho & are internal reg

the 40A 2V`s came off the early 2WD hilux`s & will fit 18R

when swapping them arround rembour there is a different reg for each of the 2V external`s & the 45A has different pin outs to the other so you need to change the earth with 1 or the ault wires cant rembout witch 1 it is tho

also for the 2V ones 8R-C=40A 18R-C=45A 20R= (1975-79)40A opitnal 55A regs adjustbal (1980 same but no adjustment) 22R= (1981)40A opitnal 60A 22R(-E)= (1982-85) 55A or 60A 4M-E=55A or 60A 5M-E=60A or 65A 5M-GE=65A external or (84-86) 60A internal reg

all of the above fit in the same holes
The faster you go the quicker you get there

soarer 4.6L V8 twin turbo sold before i finished it fully
datson 1200 SSS coupe & GA60 soon to be 7M-GTE
doing up: MA61 5M-GZE-U with TAVAS ???
