101 are quite a bit heavier than the rest of the corolla range, aside from the zz12x corollas

Haha thats ok, I thought I might have been having a senior moment.

BZ-R 20v > EK SiR isn't too surprising. I'd say the DC2 is more of a parallel to the BZ-R though, Civic is a Corolla equivalent.

Its not fair. But neither is two cars with the same engine size where one of them is a heavier car with less of a performance orientation - the fact that Honda went 1.8 with their zippy FWD Coupe means there isn't really a fair parallel.

Becomes a bit of a chalk and cheese affair.

I've never seen a b16 powered anything go slower than 15.5s
Most are in the 14.5s - 15s bracket.
red car

Manfield - 1:24s
Taupo - Track1 1:53s (road tyres) - Track2 1:22s - Track3 48s (with esses) - Track4 1:58s

Do you realize that their track possibly is located at high altitude?
15.5 that is what would you expect from a BZG as well.

So a B16A isnt a performance motor? ;)
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Its like comparing an 13B-REW RX7 with a RWD Turbo Skyline wouldn't be a fair match up for one reason, while a 13B-REW Cosmo against a RWD Turbo Skyline wouldn't be fair for the same kind of reason but the other way around.

An EG6 SiR versus an AE101 FX-GT just wouldn't be so much fun would it? ;)
