2JZ-GE cams
Im looking at getting some cams for a 2JZ-GE, aftermarket stuff is pretty thin on the ground for the N/A motor so im not having much luck finding some, any help would be appreciated.

Look them up in phone book, dont think they have a website. They are in Palmerston North. Kelford would be my choice though, they probably have the best rep in NZ as far as cam grinding goes.
I've heard you can get some good gains out of the 2jz-ge, so let me know how you go. I am keen on using one for a project car later on. Heard they are a very underated motor.
I reckon 300hp at crank would be do able quite easily with mild cam grinds, upped compression, ITB's, exhaust and maybe a bit of light porting. But yea, let me know how you go

How'd you make your ITB manifold? Any pics?
pretty interested in these motors as i have said. Easy way would be going to 1uz-fe but i prefer the 2jz-ge.
Any idea about port/valve sizing on 1jz/1jzgte/2jz/2jzgte variants?
People have said they dont repsond well to n/a tuning but i believe that its because no one really gives it a good go before going turbo. I think 100hp/litre is pretty acheivable on a budget, though might take a bit of development. What do they put out standard? 220hp?

they are a bit old now as I have done heaps more to it.
The manifold is a standard lower half modified to accept 20v itb's cost me $400 to get done which I thought was very reasonable for the amount of work put in, as far as power in standard trim I believe they are 168kw and 300nm, getting power from the N/A is $$$ that is why most chuck a turbo on

225 hp and 285 N/m for a 1995/96 2JZGE

I plan on building a cammy 1JZ in a few years. I'm sure due to the short stroke It'd handle being abused to a lot of RPM ie:9K +
