I know for a fact there is no ticket quota. however there is an expectation for cops to do their job. E.g. if you were a cop patrolling and you had 7 car crashes in your area due to speed.. but no tickets from that time period.. then you are obviously slack. its their job. sh*t is always happening. So tickets should reflect that

Wrong, it is going to affect if you get a ticket or a warning. If the cop is under pressure to deliver his quota, then you may get a ticket for something that only really warrants a warning. I personally know at least one cop who is under pressure precisely because he prefers to educate and warn rather than revenue raise
