I'm running 2 amps (Forget what output but not massive amounts) 2x 100w/rms soundstreams, 2 x 60w/rms sonys and a 12inch alpine sub. All from a Alpine head (standard 1 slot). My question though is the Caldina battery grunty enough to power all this plus all the other electronics in the car (Lights, wipers, alarm etc)?
Or are people running secondary batteries?

what is your current battery in the caldina?
for the easy upgrade, get a bosch gold - or something with around 450+ CCA or so.
anything sitting around the 300 - 350CCA mark is not ideal for audio setups unless you only use your system when you drive and not parked up.
As for dual battery systems, only necessary if you intend on wanting to play for 3-4 hours at a time when the car is off

instead of carrying a spare, just upgrade the battery to something larger that can handle the jandel.. save having to change over as well

Agreed!
Does anyone know at what voltage cars will not start? Cause I always get worried about leaving my Skyline's music on with the engine off. My volt gauge usually sits on 12.2 for about 30 mins with the sub cranking before dropping to 12.1 and lower.
But starts at 11.5, but scared to go any lower.
