If you were getting block work, normally you send the caps in with it. Have you checked with the reconditioner or do you know you did not send them in?

If I were getting a set of main caps from anywhere, I'd be getting the caps fitted to the block and then line bored. It makes sure that the caps are the right size and shape.

Might pay to mention the type of engine for those who don't know what you are after.

yes if you loose the caps
you will need to get some 2nd hand ones and get it lined bored
