pop noise wen changin the song?

hey guys havn problems wit my sounds , everytime i press a button on my head unit or turn it on and off it makes a short basy pop through the speakers i think it culd b earthing out somewere or it the headunit im not to sure if anyone culd help it would b apreciated :D

panisonic headunit and a fusion amp, it was working all gud till i put the subs in a differ box and amp in a difer place so i duna why it doing it , was working fine before that

generally pops are a sign of:
a) bad equipment
b) bad terminations (ie ground or other cabling)
c) interference picked up somewhere

if you have moved the sub and amp, you may have knocked something, so recheck all your cabling and terminations to ensure you haven't knocked anything loose.

mine did the same when i got all my gear back after it got riped off, turnd out one of the circut boards inside the amp were cracked and broken, had to get them replaced, cost me about 140 bucks in then end

oh ok well i checked all the wiring and wen i unplug the rca cords so the amps nt going through my headunit there is no noise but az i do plug it in thers a pop when i press butons on the head unit so i think it could b the amp but i guess il have to try a differ amp so ino it is that , it just trial and error that il have to go by , thanks for your replys :D will let you know if i sought the problem or not

well ive tryd differnt amps n rewired the amp wires nd no difference so i think i needa re-wire my head unit or buy anotha 1

make sure your ground cables are good. ie: sanded down to bare metal on the chassis, and the right thickness.

Reground your car battery as well, hell, just re ground everything!!

i regrounded n rewired all the amp gear but not the battery ground wire, but il try this 2mrw cheers
