Totally agree - harder for people to remember your plate when it's normal as well..
I do wish they'd bring back the old black plates tho.
Best plate i've seen was on a porsche - AVAVOM - when you see it come up behind you it looks wicked in your rearview

I seen the same kinda one. Was AVOVOM (you didnt make a typo did you?:P) but this one was on a hiace van... might have been a courier.. spotted it down the southern north island some where
