I'm actually a convert to the whole GPS thing, esp if youre travelling in a foreign country.. (was a godsend in the USA..)

any one got pics or facts on what they have done with theres. Is it possible to keep the screen but use it for something else? dvd playback etc
or is it better to replace with an aftermarket unit?
if you read what i wrote i didnt ask whether they got gps working, i asked whether the screens themselves could be used (as i have heard they can be used for playstations) or what they had been replaced with, and pics of anything people had done.
I hooked up one of those screens to PC via TV-Out set to NTSC.
It is possible to use RGB signal as well (I assume you can hack the plug to work with D-sub style VGA connector).
i see i was under the impression that the screens we got here did pal and ntsc. dont spose anyone knows how usable a caldina one is?
or if anyone knows what adtermarket retractable screens fit in the caldina slot
