4age into ke70 tacho signal

ok ive got a 4age in my ke70 wagon which ive put dash with tacho into

where does the tacho get its signal from? the coil?

and if someone knows the colour wire from the dash that would be helpful too

connect the wire from the back of your tacho onto the negative terminal of the coil.

take the gauges/console out and it will probably be a black wire, you should be able to follow the "trails" on the back of the gauges from the terminal where the wire connects to where the actual gauge is on the dash. probably doesn't make much sense but pull it off and you'll see what i mean
