Beams fuel rail

Postby nz_climber » Thu Mar 27, 2008 4:30 pm

Hi there all, just looking at my engine the other night I noticed that the altezza engine only has one fuel hose through a regulator thingy into the fuel rail (on top of where the 3rd injector is).. anyone have a idea how this works? and can it be used like this with and external after market fuel pump?

Or would it be better to put an fuel into one end, then fuel reg and coming out at either other end or where fuel currently goes in.. any ideas?

the fuel pressure regulator is in fuel tank, the "regulator thingy" is just a damper.

thanks, that sounds good - I just want to confirm the fuel pressure of the standard altezza - as the ecu will be standard to start with
