A few years back, I remember an AE92 FXGT with a 3SGTE was for sale. Went for a VERY reasonable price too.
It had all the 4WD driveline too
I think Glen (EZY10s) had something to do with that car too.

What, fast? Well no, my series 4 was quite good at all 3, not hugely fast but still quick enough to get into serious trouble.

And a intercooler which i had laying around, so i budgeted atleast a grand.
Yet now, i rebuilt the engine (parts alone), Then decided i wanted a bigger turbo, so spent atleast another paycheck chopping the old manifold, extending it and changing flanges to suit a bigger turbo (t28 rather than a td04) then needed fuel, still havent got any sort of ECU, plenium custom made (Well, didnt cost me anything as it was a "job" for a "job" type thing, i sprayed some car parts for him) then decided to paint the engine bay, just for the (looks) misc parts missed in the process or broken before hand cost a bit, and as you can see i budged around $1000.. no where near finished, engine still not even going, and im wayy past the goal price.. i say, do it once.. do it properly cause like me.. youll plan a (cheap) setup, decide its sh*t, then pay even more modifying everything else when you could of being done!
