Too much torque steer and too much wheel spin.

I was told it was the car to beat also, he did bloody well in a non caged full weight road car and a bloody shame he bent it.
There was talk that one of the skylines, i'm not sure which was tuned by Soichi and makes 580kw atw?
for the record....EVO88U made 404kw atw at 2.2 bar boost on the dyno but couldn't run it at the track due to spark problems.
Boost was backed off to just under 2 bar and dwell increased to boost spark so was probably making around 380kw on the day.
I think well driven the car would be capable of lapping in the 60 second range.
Data logger showed 289kph top speed which was a little surprising (and scary) too.

My car started missing badly out of the hairpin all the way to the finish line. Once I got on the front straight I was watching gauges more than track because I knew no cars would be on the track, I looked up to see a red car on the track thank god for good brakes.
Friday testing 1.01 bummer
GH wrote:No the car is now set up for SS2000 just going to drop the boost by 3lb

I thought the point was to better your own times, not necessarily competing with others?
although it is always more fun to be at the top of the field than the bottom.

I think this event was not as publicized as it should have been and actually think there were not enough of the top guys like cars from super gt, eg the mag and turbo sylvia does laps in under a minute at puke!!
