help me get my 4agte runing!!

Postby themaleman » Sat May 31, 2008 3:24 pm

the engine as a 4agze.

ok i only have a few 'little' things to hook up now,
the first thing is where do i join this up 2? is it the fuel pres reg??

the next is this thing which is located at the back right of the engine bay (looking at the engine from the front) dose it just need a vacume line on there??
[/img]Image

and lastly theres this thing, i think i was told i dont need it conected at all, but its there so i might as well hook it up. there are 3 hoses coming off of it, from memory 2 of them went to the tb, but im using a 16v 4age intake now and i cant workout where they are to be connected
[img]

any help would be greatly apreciated as after these are hooked up (or removed) my car should be finally running![/img]

Yup first one is the fuel pressure regulaotr all right- vacuum line to inlet manifold.

second one is the charcoal cannister for emissions/crap. can leave disconnected or if you want run a vacuum line to the inlet also

i have no idea on the third one - anyone else?

ok i think what im trying to hook up is the 'egr-vm' highlightet in blue.

as you can see, there are two pipes leading to it coming out of the inlet manifold, highlighted in red.

i am now using a 16v4age inlet manifold, which only has one pipe resembling the pipes on the 4agze inlet manifold.

my question is..

do the 'letters' on the digram highlighted in red mean anything?

if they dont i assume i can simply T the two pipes comeing off the 'egr-vm' into the one pipe coming out of my 4age inlet mainefold

correct??
