1976 SR Coupe project

Postby Warren » Mon Aug 25, 2008 11:52 am

Thinking of buying my mates KE35. A Project he never started.
He was going to put a 13B turbo in it, but I'm not really a fan of rotary's.
So, what do you guys rekon?

My vote was for keeping the 4k. Sure it won't be the fastest thing on the road but if it is yet to be molested why not tidy it up and keep it original?

Failing that 16v 4age with twin side draughts, high compression pistons and some lumpy cams

SR20 or 3S it!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Trouble is the car is in pieces. Already been stripped down (paint and all)
But I have thought about keeping it original, might be worth more that way. But I am keen on the 4AGE idea rather than the 4K

Put a 2J in it bro...  (thought I'd get in there before someone said it seriously)
3S would be cool, don't put an SR20 in it cross manufacturer transplants are gay imo.

Making a poll on a forum about what to do with your project car is the first step to failure
