jza80 fuel pump rating

how much power can the stock fuel pump in a jza80 twin turbo supra handle....was thinking of upping the boost a bit but wana make sure first :)
220.1 rwkw
jzz30 bpu soarer auto = 13.3 @ 171 km/h
jza80 supra = 11.7

jza80 apu supra manual = 400rwkw

will be fine, stock pumps can handle 1 bar boost easy.

what about 16psi.....have seen a lot of supra guys running 16psi, is this safe????

Correct me if i am wrong but thats pretty close to 1 bar (might be 1.1bar)

my 1j is running stock fuel at 17psi, still fine, and i have way smaller injectors and fuel pump. lot of aristo's in aussie running 18+psi on their 2j's with stock fueling, will be doing the same with ours once get boost controller sorted.

your turbos will run out of flow before your fuel system does..supra pumps are one of the best. up to 300rwkw.

x2, from what I recall they can pump quite happily.

thats great just sumone told me their not that good soo i thought id ask around before buying a new one :)

there is a mod that you can do to make the pump work at 12v all the time, usually they change between high and low voltage, flick to high when foots up it. helps pump last longer, etc.

not really, can't quite remember why it's done, wether it helps prolong the life of the pump, or just the lack of switching between the two voltages makes sure that always got fuel, can't remember, lol.

what if your in ttc (parallel mode) would the car detonate then around 4000rpm as stated in the write up....seems like a easy mod
