Tyrepower @ harris Road is open during saturday till 1pm.

I've got my coilover fitted $100 perside, thats including laser alignment, camber adjustments and height adjustments.

I imagine they will change lower just fitting springs.

$400 bucks installed incl all those alignments is a decent price. i would suggest if u are a daily driver just save more money and get good shock and spring set up. low and firm ride but not to harsh on bumps

hey guys, thanks for the reply, yeah the trd springs have gone up about $100 since i asked you about them, i guess thats the price of steel etc,

No that would be the price of Toyota :) always putting prices up. Last rise they had was accross the board and was pretty big.

You can usually get Eibach Pro Street springs for cheaper (same as TRD, Eibach make them under license for TRD).

As for sacking the shit out of cars to make them look nice, thats all good if youre into that, but youre going to lose comfort and drivability + we arent talking about a performance car here so you wont get much performance benefit either.

I paid $245 to get 4 shocks + 4 springs installed and wheel alignment on the MR2. (Top Town Tyres here in Hamilton.

Did you look at some after market wheels, window tinting and a mild lower (20-30mm) perhaps to make it look nice ?

hey thanks for the reply, interesting to know about Eibach springs will have a look into them

got new wheels and tints already, ill get that picture so you guys can see what i mean about the gap, maybe im not thinking about it right, maybe 35mm would be fine, i guess the cars that are completely sacked will probably handle like crap anyways which is what i am trying to avoid i want to go for a bit of each,

Sounds like youve got it looking pretty nice already.

I would reccomend TRD \ Eibach Springs (Try ebay while the dollar is ok). And mabey throw in a front strut brace to increase cornering stability.

35mm is plenty low, I lowered my MR2 30mm and it struggles on some driveways. + if you go over that you have the hassle of certing for lower suspension and youll get pulled over for random checks all the time.

Eibach springs will be good

however the only place i have ever heard mention of eibach making TRDs srings is the internet. I suspect thats a rumour that started off in the US

If you can find some eibach in nz for a good price they would be worth while, failing that i think tein would be the best option, they tend have fairly similar rates as TRD. in fact other than being green they look exactly like the TRD ones!
wouldnt surprise me if they were made in the same foundry

the more i look at it its not too bad, just wouldlike something that was sitting more around the edge of the tyre but getting bigger wheels could help that, i just picked them up to get rid of the hub caps till i find a style i like and that suits the car,

close enough to stock as to make no difference.

it just seems like there is a large gap there.
