Hey guys,
Don't know if I'm just slow but have seen a couple of posts re the toyodiy.com site.
Who uses it?
Are the part numbers accurate?
I have found that in my parts book for my corolla (essentially the same as the EPC on this site) the part numbers dont necessarily correlate to the number on the part itself. (Found this was the case on the headlights) Is this because its the catelogue number?
Or is there different numbering systems depending on country or something like that?

Ok true, then is there a difference between catelogue number and the number stamped on the part?
These are the codes given for the RH headlight 81135-1A180 or 81130-1A182, but stamped on them is 12-234R or something like that

If it is a part catalogue from USA they drive on other side of road so headlight needs to be different.
There are probably a few other areas that are different due to countries regulations.

the 81135-1A180 is the toyota part number, and the 12-234R is the lense number

Had a chance to test this today and for my Jap import car it seems accurate.
The only problem that I can see is working out which of some of the optional bits are the one's your specific car is equipped with (In the case I looked at one of several different diffs)
On some other bits it is defiantly accurate.

I don't trust it.
Tried looking up an 86 FXGT and got asked if it was a 1600cc, 16 valve turbo
Then all the engine/drivetrain diagrams for the ST202 showed a 4wd turbo.

I think it's quite good, looking at my reciepts and matching part numbers has been good.
It's also great if it been a while since you pulled something apart and sorta forgot how it goes

haha, my bad, my head was elsewhere.
I think it's useful, but I will want to double check part numbers before rattling them off to a dealer.

Hah, fully didn't notice that. Have used it to order curren lights and checked it against celica parts i've bought from toyota and the part numbers do match up however
