Funny you mention that, I read in the paper (today or yesterday) about a guy that rear ended someone.... went to claim, it was found he had not informed them he had received a speeding fine since his renewal, so they declined his claim, had to pay for his car and the person he hit.
Worth not telling them you have fines?
johndoe1025 wrote:haha the fines are very recent, and only one is a speeding my rate is also for full insurance btw. im pretty sure they told me i only needed to ring them for adress/details/licence/car changes. so im ok
soven wrote:sorry to hijack slightly. Whats the go with State insurance. My insurance is ridiculously cheap with them. $390 for full cover on a 87 Supercharged aw11. I have spoken to them three times and three different operators stating that it is supercharged but they tell me the rate is correct. I am 22 with no fines etc.

$800/year. $250 excess. $15k agreed value.
Our BMW is half the premium with State with the same insured value.
