next month im due to do a track day in taupo and i want to give the 3au a bit more go for the day will it have any affect on the proformance my escorts used to love running on avgas on the track but the 3au is a bit more modern

Not unless you tweak the timing to suit, I doubt a 3A has enough compression to justify avgas. Plus most Japanese cylinder heads have far better combustion chambers than the old Kent motors.

lies those old kent motors are the siz just kidding yea there are fairly old technology now not worth it eh dam gota kick my ass into gear and start my 4age build just collecting the parts now

i was just about to say the smell mmm i remember well being 13 or 14 going to manfeild wallking through the pits i might just run it for fun now the pinto that was a engine sohc aparently according do david vizards book they could make 440bhp turbo in full race form

Is Avgas 100LL worth all that effort? lolz. I'd say your local 98BP is sweet as it is. The lemon is not worth squeezing.

will probably make it slower to tell the truth, advancing the timing heaps wont make it any faster either. install a better engine!
