Postby kim0663 » Thu Jan 29, 2009 12:37 am

which gear oil runs best on a BZR? 6spd

Does toyota have genuine oils for it? or do they suggest atf dex3 like most of them.

don't run ATF. I would recomend syntrax or multitrax, it has to be GL5 due to torsen.

The factory LSD shouldn't be felt. What I mean is that torsen LSD works seamlessly (no kicks or "grabbs"). Unless you have aftermarket LSD that is....

Torsens are very affected by the oil you run in them. Mostly to do with sheer and weight but thats another discussion.

The Redline Shockproof series is absolutly awesome with a torsen - Yes you will notice it. Kinda like putting normal oil in a LSD :).
