3sge/3sgte genIV BLOCK differences

Did a search, didn't see.
Am after a replacement block for my st215w as mine is a little sad, wondering if the atmo block is essentially the same as the f.i. one, sure the filter is in a different place, but surely that's mostly different in the oil pump?

yip the only difference between your block and the 3rd gen n/a block is the tapped provision for the turbo oil feed line, they already even have oil squirters........

One thing you'll have to watch is the provisions for the transfer case. this was one thing that Adydas had trouble with when mating up with 4WD box.

I know that the 4wd transfer case will NOT bolt on if you use an unmodified 3sge block! (Gen3 3sge into ST185)

Pretty sure the 3sge block has extra bosses and extra rib on the intake side that get in the way of bolting on the transfer case.

Adydas had to grind about 10mm off the extra rib to make room.

Also I don't think the 3sge block has the boss where the oil feed bolts onto.

Got your PM, I do have a gen2 3sgte block. It's half promised to someone... I will check if he still wants it.
