2-3k? I think thats a bit low tbh, specially if hes not doing any of the work him self. Once you include cost of the motor/box to suite I reckon you would be looking 6-7k min. And if you went 3sgte route, it would be crap to drive. All that power in a FWD you would never actually go anywhere.

Mate in my honest opinion it's in your best interests to either learn how to do it yourself or sell the car and get a GT4. You won't get much change from $10k if you get a shop to do it for you - and your car will still be worth a lot less than a GT4 (which are worth less than $5k to start with...)
