ps

After hours i found a site, yes loop the feeds, leave some fluid in to keep it lubed,T a breather into it somewhere, haven't had a chance to inspect where but will get on to it on the weekend,The breather allows the air in the rack to move around easiler So the driver doesn't,will fit a larger steering as well

Yeah that's pretty much the go.

gotta leave a bit of fluid in there to keep it all lubed up.

I run a FXGT rally car, I have a PS rack (original FXGT AE82) which I run a looped hose topped up with fluid and a smaller wheel. I have plenty of feel and it is predictable to drive. But its a little harder at slow speeds. it has 3 turns lock to lock.
You can pick up a Superstrut rack (AE111 & AE101)and fit AE82 arms to it to achieve a 2.6 rack (2.6 turns lock to lock) but you would have to run the pump. Same setup as the rack listed in the trademe ad in the above post.

Pretty heavy, will put the quicker rack in an put the ps back. When it comes to ss 2000 racing and how quick sometimes you need to change direction to get around other competitors i will need it,Had problems with the new close ratio gearbox ,after 3 laps had problems getting 3,4th gear,5th no problems.Have you had a look at your motor yet.

Let me know how that rack goes. I might look into something like that later down the track when I've got my car going.
