I need to ask him about some adapters he's making me

Time's getting on for the 1st and I've got no brakes

just relax man, he's doing us a good deal on them, he'll get them done when he can. i know that you would have liked to have them on and going by june, but as the old cheese ad goes, good things take time.

I am relaxed - however I don't want to spend the next 10 days working on my car every night after work, during the day in the weekends, only to find I won't have any brakes and therefore everything I've been doing has been a waste of time

Hi - talking to you now

I just need to know if the adapters will be finished before next Friday as I have to measure up and get brake lines made etc and I don't want to spend the few hours I have in the day working to fix my gearbox, waste gate, brake master cylinder, heat shields, oil and water lines, brake cooling ducts and heat wrapping my manifold only to find that I have no brakes and it's all been in vain lol

You prob could have got the brackets laser cut!
Thats how we do most of ours. Make a template with holes in it from thin steel (or even wood) then get the proper one made to the correct thickness.

btw i'll only be running 193kw at pukekohe

You should of just come see me about the brakes. I would of just told you how to make up a wooden template.

193kw was on a different dyno. We only used it for tuning, didnt really care about the power output. I measure the output when I drive it hahaha and its def still got around 270kw at this boost level.

Ah well - what's done is done. I just hope I can make it in time

I've put my gearbox back together (AGAIN) and will be putting it in the car tonight.

just to dredge this back up, been trying to contact alex with regarding getting my stuff back from him, needed urgently as to get dads mk4 moving again, but he's not answering txts or calls. can anyone get in touch with him? it's been almost two months since last heard from him, and getting a bit rediculous...
