What kind of altezza do you have? Easiest conversion Ive seen is in a AS300 Gita, as they came factory 2JZ, but could probably swap the JZ mounts over to an RS200.

the gita mounts fit so engine will bolt in,
the cross members are different,
not sure if the gita c/m will bolt in, there were none available when we did the conversion, so i modified the stock member

a rear sump may be different and clear ok, we used a front sump

dont know about r154 as we used remote w58 and just made a mount to suit, had to fit captive nuts into chassis thou, the holes were there but 'blank'

I've got the IS200, the reason i need to do the conversion! Is the w series box still holding together?, i only thort r154 as they're stronger. Yea will use a front sump as have been told rears need alot of modificaion. If anyone knows anyone in Christchurch let me know.

the car hasnt had to much punishment, 300wkw on 9psi, but the crank failed. so its been off the road most of this year, hopefully for not to much longer

the gearbox was always a bit noisy and seems ok, planning to strip and rebuild at some stage,
standard diff is still in there,

wow, thought the standard diff would be the first to blow! With the wiring did you manage to get everything working? And is a VVT-i engine any harder than one without?

adam had lots of issues with the wiring,
one of the biggest issues was the wanker the did a lot of it, basically he didnt know what he was doing and took a lot of shortcuts that cost us big. mite be why he now works at harvey normam

its running a link to control the engine,

the stock computer talks to the dash so that also has to be retained, (we found out after we had sold it with engine and loom) and the correct computer must be used or the dash wont work
the tacho and fuel guages are giving him issues

we have a supra diff waiting for the day the standard diff fails,

not sure with the vvti engine, the one we have is non vvti,
from my understanding the new link ecus will control it no problems

ok cool. OK if anyone knows what would be an average price to pay for a r154 box inc everything for manual conversion, ie pedals cylinders etc?
