As for the ticket, it depends where you are- Wellington? sh*t outta luck; Hawkes Bay, good chance it will be remitted. Above advice is pretty good though- they will make you send in a letter anyway, but if you get your WoF certs together with the receipts for what you got repaired, you should be good. When you go to see them, don;t forget to smile!
