Postby frost » Tue Sep 29, 2009 11:11 pm

any one use a late model 7afe head gasket in a 20v blacktop before?
i remember reading it was a 3 layer steal .6mm item
some one used it in there race car to up the comp ratio.

ive got a new 7afe gasket but no blacktop one to compare it to,

if only i kept my blacktop HG to compare but it was rubbish day :?

if some one has a old blacktop head gasket they want to send to me(shipping is on me) i can get this confirmed.

A TRD 20v gasket is 0.8mm thick.

Also the 7afe one wont work, the holes for the coolant will be wrong.
