GTT st215 twin pots on ae corolla hubs ;)

Postby XSVWGN » Fri Nov 27, 2009 6:25 pm

so i purchased some 280mm discs from GGNZ cross drilled and vented for my ae100 wagon. Went on the search for some calipers today and was at Head Auto Wreckers (Lower Hutt) for about an hour trying all sorts of different calipers

Turns out the st215 gtt bolt up directly ;) so now i have some huge brakes for not much cash. Just thought i would share that with everone

Image

brakes on the right are standard corolla brakes 240mm discs

all he did was bolt ST215 GT-T calipers onto his factory hub carrier.
ST205 4 pots bolt straight onto them aswell........

I was thinking about the disks more than the calipers seeing as they're four stud. Wondering if it would all bolt up to my AW as well.....
See ya

st205 calipers and rotors are a straight swap onto ae hubs?
Does that go for superstrut twin pots?

Why do people add things to the equations when you say a certain thing is do-able?????????

an ST205 4 pot caliper, can be bolted directly to an AE front hub carrier.
I never said anything about the disc. From my measurement you could run a disc of appox 290mm with this configuration if you could find a disc of the right measurements
