The diagrams are no longer available on this site. For reasons that are beyond our comprehension, Toyota of North America kept harrassing our ISP about them. It seems that they are really interested in quick profits from new car sales, so it is in their best interest that old cars fall apart asap.
The progress of course cannot be stopped, and the diagrams are available on numerous other websites around the world, so we feel this change will not have a significant negative impact on Toyota DIY-ers. For example google something like 78-01 ACCELERATOR LINK 78111C, and you shall find it. Contact us if you need help or have any other question on this subject.
FAQ: Q: Why do images still work for me? A: This is a caching issue. It is temporary, and mentioning it on public forums will expedite cache expiration. So don't do that.
Now I don't care about IP laws, they are non-sense as part numbers should be readily accessible to public in my opinion (as means of maintaining the main product). Having these diagrams increases the value of the vehicles as it is easier to repair. In fact second hand sales increases sales of new vehicles because of reputation and brand loyalty.
Toyota are incredibly anal about brand protection

Another issue is that car parts are sold with extreme profit margins, if you assemble car from car parts bought from Toyota it will cost 100 times more (if not 1000) than pre-assembled brand new vehicle.
They can drop prices and still make money and eradicate competition naturally without any law suits, as the higher quality parts will be cheaper than knockoffs.
