That's WELL impressive!

Would be nice to have a pile of money big enough to do things like that. Oh and a 3d printer

EDIT: Just realised where you got the link from

Some of the technology they're employing is impressive, but the net result is only 200 more horsepower than the Hennesy 800 kit (813hp @ 6,500rpm - 704 lb-ft Torque @ 4,100rpm ) & Hennesy have been making that kit for over 6 months now.

They have designed this lil beast:

This is true, but I'm pretty sure you won't need that extra 200hp EVER.
(Unless you're building a dedicated track / race / drag car)

Been in the boss' GTR and it is plenty fast, although could do with a little more kick from 3rd onwards.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Theres a good article in the Top Gear mag with the LFA on the front about modding that goes on in LA on the GT-R. They had one pic with like 17 GT-R's in it. Was pretty awesome :)

Part of it was that the engine ECU and gearbox ECU are linked together in a kind of 'protected' way, so that if one was tampered with, the other would cease to operate properly.
The whole thing was encrypted etc etc, and it took a couple of ex military computer guys to crack it. Haha

Gust throw a link on the engine, and throw a Navara box in the back with a remote shifter & away you go.... (if only it was that easy)

Soichi can re-flash the stock ECU on those R35's now. Its so easy to mod them - was only a matter of time before the aftermarket cracked Nissan's flagship
