If someone is used to driving a Corolla, and they jump into a WRX, they're not going to be used to the power difference.
Its the same with handling. Cars that can go right to the edge of handling are double edged swords. Unskilled people will be more likely to crash then. Hell, don't believe me? Go look on the net for all the crashed Enzo's out there!
So someone who wipes themselves out in a WRX is a lot LESS likely to do so. Sure, it may be able to go just as fast as it will probably ever be driven on the roads, but the rate at which is gets there, and the speed it can carry through the corners is a different story
