i apologize for my rude and disrespectful words and attitude, it was not my intent to sound like a complete twat, i sometimes type "spur of the moment" and it sometimes comes out completely wrong, in the future i will read my post before i summit them. i value your input and knowledge very much,
I think Steve hit the nail on the head. I am pretty sure the only reason I am still alive/able to walk is because the fastest car i could afford was an NA Levin.

Nowadays you see the kiddies cruise round in old evo's and scooby's - too much car when you are learning about this new world of driving.

But... What about those who are taught to me good drivers early?
I had my R34 (only a 2.5 NA, but still a good power) at my 16th birthday, then my turbo Forester when I was 18. But I did the rally school at 15 and racing since then... So don't stereotype, for all you know one of those 18 year olds in a evo 8 could of been go karting since he was 6.
My obesvations of them would prove otherwise. Stereo types get established because a majority of that particular demographic get observed displaying the same behaviour.Emperor wrote:But... What about those who are taught to me good drivers early?

What I don't get is how an 18 year old can afford a EVO 6, or is the bank lending it to him?
FANGIN wrote:Isn't it weird how you can grab an Evo3 shape GSR for only double the price that you pay for a mint KE or KP these days?
Also, alot of parents don't know how fast an Evo 6 is & are quite willing to help their kids into a new, "safe" car. Plus, if you have a 25% deposit, your GE Money Genie will quite happily lend you the rest.

But the majority aren't karters or have been to rally school.
Not intentionally opening up a can of worms... BUT!Adamal wrote:Exactly.
If they were to limit what could be bought relative to age, it would be easier to police with a blanket rule rather than on a case by case basis.

Compulsory 3rd party insurance would do this id say.
