NO.....You should be faster in your own car, if you're not, then talk to these guys about some driver training.

Mate when are you coming to the darkside and getting out of the Mitsi and into a JZA80????

EVO drivers find RWD a we bit to hard that why they are in a EVO in the first place

Maybe he had other committments?
But I recall ages ago he was running in the 1.39s/1.38s around taupo.

Still that 2L N/A Integra kicks AR*E, can't beleive the speed of that thing!

Was talking to they guy that does stuff on both the Silvia's,
He did have other committments that weekend and was not there,
and Oliver's silvia is aparantly quicker than the other one.

The 2L integra of Justin Herbets? was also not there,
and aparantly does 1.39's, same as what I did.

And that will be why the WRC cars are 4wd also, the boys can't drive

I think you'll find it's because we find them a wee bit too slow in anything other than perfect conditions ie, fast dry track.

You'll also find that all the fastest RWD race cars in the country have very sophisticated traction control systems or are Porsches which handle like go carts anyway.

Care to name some? All the fast ones I can think of most certainly do not have TC. If they did they would be illegal!

Dont think so, thats why he has issues around taupo trying to get the power to the ground.

None of the fast RWD cars I can think of have TC on them,
ex V8 supercars, None of the Enduro cars, none of the OSCA cars down here, not on NZV8's,

We played with launch control and Traction control on my car and on the XR6T Focus, and always found it was better if you drove it properly without it. Even though it could break into wheelspin from 180K.

If you need TC, you need to learn to drive.

I did say fastest, none of the cars you have mentioned are in that category.

Fastest cars in the country at present are GT1(except the go-cart Porsches) by a large margin.
All the GT1 frontrunners have traction control.

This isn't because they can't drive, this is because a computer can calculate wheel speed and modulate power infinately faster than a human can who has to do it by feel.
Despite what most people think, the driving aids in new cars ie, EBD, ABS,ESC, TC are way better than they are.

.... Man this has gone off topic....

Scott, get your car sorted and impress us at a race meeting... I'll be at the winter series and am keen to see it go well.

No need to get into a flame war over who does/doesn't have TC, who cares?

This thread isn't about you or your EVO....
