4age 20v silvertop headblot problem

I have a 4age 20v silvertop i was taking out the head but i have fully made the top part of the head bolt thing round because there were carbon deposit underneath and a put the spanner in and rotated it with a power bar but now the head bolt is fully round and when i put the socket in and try to take it off the socket rotates by itself. Any idea how i could take it off?

One solution is to weld a bolt on top of it. If no welder though, not sure Someone else would have had this problem so will post up

I had the same problem and as it was the last one left and I had a new set of headbolts, took a drill to the head of the bolt so I could lift the head off, then undid the rest of the bolt with vice grips

Not that it was that tight after drilling the head off

i found this to be the best way,
best to do it on a steady drill press, at least then you wont slip and drill a hole in your head,
