just scored me a minter yesterday for 350 bucks straight body mint interior completly stock..its gona be my daily/cruiser

the gen 4 mr2 is going to get a tidy up

im the 2nd owner old owners bought it new 25 years ago or something

what model is this like ae8??

and also what is the stud pattern?

its this shape not that car below but the same shape

Incase you don't know how its measured, its taken centre of one wheel stud, to the centre of one opposite (not next to it). Should be bang on 100mm

i thought the days of 350 dollar cars (unlessthey were scrap) were gone !

yea man same here !!

it was put on trademe on tuesday 10pm picked up it straight after work weds 5 pm..drives mint to ..they take it to vtnz for wofs too 8O

they failed it for like 5 cm of rust inside the boot this time around didnt bother me tho! easy fix

its that stock yellow color too haha and i want to change those black plates to the normal white with black writting

whats that cost of new plates?

Just note, this only really works on 4 stud or 6 stud vehicles, don't go trying it on a 5-er. :wink: Edit: I suppose I should elaborate - The number after the stud amount is the radius of the stud's distance away from the centre of the hub, multiplied by two (to give diameter).

should i keep it bone stock?

coz i was thinking some 15s with a nice offset later on before summer maybe but dont want to ruin her ..?

Do what you want with it man. It's a good reliable car, but its not a collectable or anything, so I wouldn't be too worried about ruining it. Nothing wrong with a set of rims etc to make it look a bit nicer etc Just don't sack it out on chromes, add an annoyingly loud exhaust and you'll be fine haha
