Yea JZA80 shiz will bolt in for no gain whatsoever, unless it was cheaper than soarer parts.

JZA80 coilovers fit though 8)

If you intend to trackday it, swapping the front upper arms side to side will allow you to run more castor without sacrificing camber.

Also, manual it asap, best thing i ever did.

Yeah.. so this is true..

Stupid v8 costing me lots of petrol and now doesnt go.. farrkk.

Its usually just the idle up valve on the PS pump that leaks for memory. Pull the valve out, remove/cap the hoses up at the intake/mainfold and wind a sump plug into the PS pump with some loctite in place of the valve

Since when??

Hell of a price drop from the last time I checked

I did mine in May this year, sourced through Mark. Maybe he just likes me more than you? Or maybe you got quoted the later model alloy lower arms that the A80 uses?

Nah, it's the idle up that causes fluid to disappear, the seals die in the pumps which make a mess (apparently not helped by high revs on hard lock)

Not a hard job to strip out and clean, just depends how long it's been doing it as it tends to chew out the the slip ring instead of the bushes.

Haven't priced for a long time, and didn't ask about the JZA80 arms but Z30 ones were moonbeams. And Mark likes everyone more than me

I removed the alternator today, i have a second hand one which i can get for 230 but i can get cheap parts and labour for this job so ill price that up too.

What is the normal cause of leaking power steer fluid and what should i do to prevent it from happening again?

Cheers mate, seems relatively easy considering it breaks the alternator.. should i put a rag over the new alternator when i put it in so i can drive my car to the workshop (way easier to do the work there..)

Hey every one, i took my alternator down to autostop (i know i know.. ;) ) they said alternator is working fine, so i reinstalled the alternator started car. still has same problem..

Symptoms:

Sounds to be running on 4-7 cylinders.
smells rich, i can smell the gas.
"Alternator not charging Battery " light comes up on dashboard.
idles at normal, if i put my foot down any more the rev counter(digi dash) drops to 0, even though the car is running.

Im thinking possibaly AFM or coil pack...

Please excuse my ignorance ive only owned a 20v.. :D hahaha

Sounds like a coil, try disconnecting them one at a time.

Check your battery voltage while the car is idling.

Get a replacement alternator and AFM, they are likely $&#$%.

Autostop, seriously?
