I posted a copy & paste before I think, from mr2oc.

I can confirm that Gen 3 3S-GE M/T is the stuff you want.

You can put 2 x intake cams in there and degree it properly, epic broooooooom pshshshhshhhhhhhhhhhhh au bro!

BTW bring your laptop around sometime need to retune my car, now it's idling low after the danger to manifold fix! boosting really high too might as well throw in the Gen 3 Map sensor?
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

With the Gen3 cam, wouldn't you risk spitting shims?

Maybe, depends how big your balls are and how high you wanna rev (you DO wanna rev higher to take advantage of the high lift), the HKS 264 cams are 9mm / 9.2mm according to HKS USA, with 9.8mm lift, you're right, I wouldn't go there.

Gen 2 is for fags anyway :P

I reckon. Who the hell wants a better flowing head? Overrated :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

They're accurate as far as I'm aware. You won't spit shims out with any stock 3S cams unless you raise the rev limit in which case you should be doing springs and a shimless/shim under bucket setup anyway.

Yeah if you're wearing a helmet, it's a moot point how aerodynamic your head is anyway.

or if you're a closed roof vehicle, the whole thing becomes completely irrelevant

Interesting... no chance of hitting the pistons?
I only rev to 8, i behave.

any marknings on the head etc to see if its a manual one?
So you can achually put 2 intake cams in... work well?
