There is always going to be a risk of things going wrong, on the track, or the road.
Just be defensive in every decision you make and you will hopefully be ok
Maybe once money is flowing a bit more freely, I will look into getting a cage and everything that goes with it, but at the moment I dont anywhere near the budget to start undertaking entering MSNZ events so it will just be fun days for me for the forseeable future.
After years of riding motorbikes, I always drive with the attitude that everyone out there is a possible accident waiting to happen so I dont go following other cars up their arses on the track as its not going to benefit me, only cost me if as you say, something goes wrong with their car.
I have more than enough brakes and enough grip to make sure Im not going to be putting myself in any sticky situations either, given they are only fun days, thats how I treat them. Im no Schuey hehe, just someone who wants to enjoy his toy legally
