i will need to look into that one. might do it tomorow. Anything other ideas while im at it? as for the wheels, iv had 2 sets of different wheels on it and both give the same feedback. so i think it is something mechanical somewhereATAl wrote:Is there any play in the rear hubs?
my front engine mount was looking a little sad, so i replaced that. had a slight improvement but not a huge amount. had a look at bushings when it was on the hoist for the wof but didnt tug on them at all. will check them tomorow aswell.Mr Revhead wrote:Checked engine mounts? Suspension bushes?
ok, so it couldnt be any suspension compents or hubs in the rear? also what is the best way to test engine mounts? i have replaced one (the front one) but didnt make much of a difference (it was 2nd hand and may also be f*#%ed)Mr Revhead wrote:Coming through the wheel would indicate it's in the front steering/suspension.
So it's safe to say it won't be front wheels or suspension.
If it was engine mounts etc then you'd feel it though the seat.
Mr Revhead wrote:Yes it can be suspension in the rear.
Wont't be in the front because they are linked to the steering and you'd feel it through the wheel.
First thing is a visual look and see if they are broken.
I don't think mounts are all that likely if it goes away under acceleration.
however if this is a recent conversion or just had something modded in that area it could be.
