Rear suspension issue? - Sorted

I was on my way home from work tonight and the rear of the car felt like it was floating left to right around corners and off camber straights. :?
Could a panhard rod bush be gone?

Sure it could be that would make sense but you are Probably more qualified to find that out by taking a look than us trying to guess from behind a screen..

Jack the rear of the car up (not by the axle) and give everything a good push/pull and track it down. They are real simple with a solid rear axle and trailing arms I think so only about 5-6 bushes that could have worn out.

Or it could of just been the wind (or a seagull farting) pushing your smaller than average car around! :p

How'd you know that caused it?

It was still doing it on the way to work this morning so somethings not right.

Ill jack the car up after work and check over all the bushes.

Wow PMS or just not getting any :?: :lol:

More than likely one of the bushes. Easiest thing is to replace the lot with Nolathane ones if you still running factory bushes.

Autolign is probably the best place to get them from.
I think they have to be pushed out with a press.

Jacked the car up after work and all the bushes were alright when trying to move them with a pry bar. I think it must have been the loose gravel last night causing it to feel weird.

Has a rear shock failed? When one went on the back of the Carib, it felt very weird to drive.

Turns out the left rear tyre was 15psi less than the others and I was driving on loose metal.

Car was perfectly fine as i just pumped the tyre back up and did a track day at hampton without any issues.
