SUPERLOW COIL SPRINGS

Hi mates, most of you may have already seen my car in the new member intro.

I want to lower my car with superlow springs.

King springs, or Lovells springs??

Kings say 45-50mm drop, Lovells say 45-65mm drop (depending on vehicle)

Has anybody used one or both of these brands in Superlow?

from memory i think the honda superlows fit the front suspension
had honda superlows in the front of my ee80 at one stage

i cant speak for the sedans, but i had 'lows' in a hatch at one stage. it looked decent, but made all sorts of shit a pain.

was pretty silly, would have hated for it to be any lower.

jamex are crap, had them in my zze wagon, then changed to tein springs, was a huge difference.

When lowering your car you need to think about how much suspension travel you will be left with.
Lowering by 50mm on most cars will cause some unwanted geometry changes.
You may think it handles better because it sits flatter etc. but it will have less grip and in a lot of cases actually make the car pretty dodgy.

If you can, put the car on a 4 post hoist and have a good look at all the suspension parts paying special attention to the strut shafts.
Now imagine everything sitting 50mm lower and see where things sit.

Superlows are gay. Real soft since they are designed to go low with standard shocks

fyi you can get custom springs made up at BNT for any car, I think they could do spring rates too, its not too expensive either

yeah always makes me giggle to watch some silly flatpeaker get bumpsteered half off the road in his overly low fart mobile, while im up his arse in my mums auto civic or something.

but all the cool kids want it so low they have to put on maad tyte stretched tyres and have the wheels on such mental amounts of negative camber - cause bitches love negative camber! who cares if the car becomes horrible to drive and a danger to drive! think about the bitches!
