Can you move intercooler to driverside more?
there wont be getting hell of lot fresh air get to radiator with intercooler being that thick dam.
Can move radiator out to passenger side more?
then pull panel from front bumper wide as possible to radiator so get funneling fresh air to radiator, even on intercooler side to slow heat from intercooler to radiator

Dividing plate in engine bay between rad and turbo to slow transfer of heat over going from block to radiator panel

if that does work get radiator flow tested, if ok, need put holes/vents in bonnet to let hot air out.

It always amases me that people put huge big FMICs on their cars then try to figure out why the cooling system can't cope on the track?
No FMIC for me.
No overheating probs either.

Unfortunately no the intercooler can't move to the drivers side anymore than it is because the intercooler inlet is tig'd on (3" inlet cut off).

Its not actually as thick as it looks, its just a generic 76mm thick one.

The radiator is as far as it will go to the passengers side due to the intercooler piping and would need a lot of cutting.

Definitely options to make a big sheild between it and the turbo/downpipe though.

Poor old Nissan and Mitsubishi, so misguided, they'll never do well.

Are you trying to say that mitsi and Nissan have never used a top mount ic setup on a production car?

Is there space for a proper shroud on the radiator? Will make the fan a whole lot more effective.

The opposite, they have both fitted big FMIC's to factory cars. Which goes against the gospel of MAGN1T.

Yes possibly a thin one, although I doubt it could move as much air as driving at speed even with a big FMIC, so I'd say a shroud would only help when in the pits unless I get a top of the range electric fan maybe.

Foam/rubber weather strip between the hood/bonnet and the radiator bulkhead to stop air going over, also on the top bottom & sides of the radiator between it and the bulkhead to stop air going around it.
Heatshield between the Ex manifold & radiator.

the intercooler looks like a bar and plate one, swapping to a tube and fin will allow more air thru to the radiator. Could be enough

the air will get through OK anyway, just that it's not cold air anymore.

Do the factory fitted fmics have them in series or parallel with the radiator though? In terms of air flow.
