Cleaning off aluminium oxide?

Postby Dell'Orto » Mon Oct 31, 2011 7:42 pm

So the AFM from this MR2 has been sitting inside the boot for a while, and has built up a bit of oxidisation on the inside. Is there any way other than sanding to get it off??

Try contact cleaner, it's what I've always used on AFMs. Don't know how bad your build up is though.
