those figures are only as revelvant as the dyno's correction factors.....

still doesn't tell you what HP it is actually making at the flywheel.
Generally accepted dynojet WHP readings are 15% less than flywheel

How do you measure the engine hp without pulling the engine out and putting it on an engine dyno?

Last time I checked I drove on wheels not a flywheel.

Impressive power on a "stock" turbo regardless of where it's measured from.

WHP is what matters!
That WHP is considerably better than I had expected from a CT20b. It's more than I'm pulling from my GT2871r's.
I suspect a good portion of the power is the E85.
The answer is Helmholtz!

Indeed. For a long time the record sat at around 320rwhp on a gen2 motor.

Totally...I think neelside's GT Four made 299kw on pump gas, and 350+ on E85

They let it run down after a high gear pull and measure the resistive force it takes to slow the dyno down?

Which is a very misleading experiment.
Normally with this "measurement" people are led to believe that they have 100Hp loss through drive train (which would be realistic for quarry dump truck).

flywheel HP is the only TRUE HP, because all types of hub and wheel dynos read different!!!!!! why cant people comprehend that.

was a 5.something litre v8

So the most accurate dyno would be the one that read 9% to 11% less than at flywheel, since that is most what you expect to be lost at transmission (~50Hp for that power).
