I second taking it to steelie gears. He is cheap and good. However, he isnt a big fan of working on Japanese stuff, so you might be waiting awhile to get it done.
Limbo and I had a talk to him about redoing the diff in his Mark 3 turbo A, Limbo's diff has the same sort of issues you are talking about, and he seemed to think he could fix it up better than new. Nice and tight.
