Just to drag up an old thread and to who ever is mildly interested  i ended up buying a V2 wrx sti ra, im stocked with it, goes really well, handles great, and has only had one owner since imported in 2004, over that time it has only done around 60,000km, the guy has kept it completly standard other than a few minor mods which look to be done in Japan. Will post a couple of pics in the weekend if anyone is interested, heres one from the auction.

Dont muck with it too much, it'll be worth good coin in the future if its pretty unmolested now.

The plan is to keep it stock i love how it goes and handles now, and the fact that its pritty different to every other wrx out there because it is standard
I really just want to tidy it up such as front bumper is full of stone chips, bonnet ect, couple of bits in the interior need a tidy up. than i will be satisfied.

Good thinking, bulk buys on big end bearings will make it much more affordable.
