At the moment I have some Tom's SS brakelines which I'm looking to install, and thought while I'm putting those in, I might aswell upgrade a couple of other brake things. Pads and swap over to twin pot brakes.
I've Heard from someone with a Carolla, that it's a pretty common upgrade for them. But looking at some ST202 specs there doesn't seem too be much difference between them, just a more even distribution of pressure on the pads.
The single piston caliper specs
Piston Diameter: 57mm
Piston Count: 1
The twin piston caliper specs
Piston Diameter: 40.4mm
Piston Count: 2
So basically wanting to know if its worth just getting new pads or swapping over to twin pots + new pads.
