Hey, Firefly - On top of the 42 (or 46k) it cost to buy the car, did you also have to pay 15% GST and on-road costs? Just curious

Nah the $47K included GST, but there were some ORC added on.

I've just registered my interest, so hopefully they get in touch soon for a test drive at least. I'd not be interested in buying one until at least the new year though, so a wait isn't too big a problem for me.

Yeah its about Jan if you want a GT. Kinda stink they ran out of manual GT's. We ended up only able to get a base spec for a demo :/

Posted that on my Facebook a few days ago lol... I want it after her :p Though the new Supra looks like it is about to start going into production, so might just wait it out! I'd assume it will be based off the Supra anyway because when asking the lead designers (of the 86) of a potentially new supercar/sports car the other day, they said something like "We are developing a new car now, something of a different level [to the 86]" So keen to see this go into production too as they reckon it won't be too long before it's released!
